Parley for the Animals - Let's talk

Parley for the Animals' primary purpose is to share and discuss Naxos Animal Wellfare Society ((NAWS) topics with our visitors and to provide a platform to discuss the animals’ needs The US widely known band, Siren Songs from Portland, Oregon, highlights the importance of The Parley with an evening of music. During their 2x 45min sets, the poetic songs of the female singer-songwriter duo will perfectly match the full moon atmosphere in the idyllic winery Tranampelo. Prior to the musical performance discussion and games will take place on the subject of animal husbandry, animal shelters and adoption of animals. Great wine and good food complete the program. Admission is free, but of course everyone can donate what they want and what they can.

Parley for the Animals 

The Program

We start at 6pm with talks, games, food and drinks. The concert starts at 8pm.

Our mission is to create a platform for connection  and support between people and animals. through musical events, creativity, and open discussions. We hope to communicate on a deep level, creating positive, life changing moments for both people and animals.

The Singer-Songwriter Band Siren Songs from Portland, USA will play a charity concert to draw attention to thecare of the animals on the Island, and to start a symbolic dialogue between humans and animals. 

Parley for the animals

An alliance for the welfare of the animals of Naxos starts with its first benefit event: The Singer-Songwriter Band Siren Songs from Portland, USA will play a charity concert on Sunday, June 4th, 2023 at 8 p.m. to draw attention to the care of the animals on the Island, and to start a symbolic dialogue between humans and animals.

Parley for the Animals was born out of the desire of both residents and expatriates who felt a strong connection with Naxos Animal Welfare Society . Their goal is to support this group of people who care about the welfare of stray and mistreated animals. Here, in the Naxos animal shelter, the base of the Naxos Animal Welfare Society, volunteers from all over the world working together with Naxotians every day to help sick or neglected animals  get the care they need, provide them with medical treatment and to find them a new home. The NAWS cooperates with well-known European animal welfare associations in order to join forces and guarantee the animals a safe new home more quickly.
