Discovering Opportunities
Despite the amount of information, certifications and guidelines available for the development of sustainable and healthy constructions, professionals in the field still face many barriers to realize such projects.
This symposium aims at exchanging information, discussing and collaborating regarding the current incentives, funding opportunities, best practices and regulations to promote sustainable and healthy constructions.
The Experts
Moritz Krogmann
Dipl.-Ing. Architekt, Executive Director, procura @ Christoph Ingenhoven Architects
Mr. Krogmann works for Christoph Ingenhoven since 2009 working on more than 32 projects. Working on design, planning and administration on a variety of projects, including commercial and hospitality as executive director he is engaged in leading design competitions and realizing projects.
Justus Schünemann
Funding Consultant @ NRW.Bank
Justus Schünemann is part of the “EU and foreign trade” department within the NRW.BANK, and a member within the Enterprise Europe Network. He supports SMEs from North Rhine-Westphalia to identify public funding programs for their international activities.
Janpeter Beckmann
Funding Consultant @ NRW.Bank
Janpeter Beckmann works in the Advisory Centre for Economic Development (BCW) at NRW.BANK with a focus on funding programs in the areas of sustainability, innovation and digitalization. Specifically, he advises companies on the possibilities of using funding for various purposes, including projects for healthy, circular and sustainable buildings.
David Peck
Associate Professor @ TU Delft
David Peck is an Associate Professor at TU Delft and Executive Board member with a focus Circular Remanufacturing and Critical Materials. He has also other part-time roles such as executive Board member at the EU EIT Raw Materials and steering committee member at the European Remanufacturing Council.
Remko Zuidema

Remko Zuidema is specialised in systemizing societal and ecological impact. Especially by implementing circularity in buildings and infrastructures. With special focus on value for and with (end)users like tenants, private owners and municipalities.

Christian Luft is a DGNB Senior, LEED Accredited Professional and BREEAM Licenced Assessor. His expertise includes green building management and certification, building simulations, holistic design concept and technical economic consulting.
Fabian Fahl
MSc. PhD - Chair of Economic Geography @ RWTH Aachen University
Fabian Fahl is the Chair of Economic Geography at RWTH Aachen University since 2020, focusing research about sustainability in the construction sector and bioeconomy. He has recently completed his PhD on how power relations, such as lobbyism, influences sustainability in the German and Dutch construction sectors.
