Are you an international student looking to start your career in Germany?
Meet Laura Hernández Sil, a graduate of the Maestría Argentino-Alemana degree program at Mainz University of Applied Sciences. During her studies, she gained hands-on experience working at Hilton Hotel and later as an intern at Schott AG, Market Intelligence Area of the Advanced Optics Department. After completing her internship and studies in August, she is looking for a full-time job in the Rhine-Main region.
In this webinar, Laura will share what she’s learned along the way, including:
First steps into the job market – when and why she took her first student job, and how it helped her settle in and later find an internship.
Paperwork made simple – the key administrative steps international students need to work in Germany.
Speaking the right language(s) – what skills really matter and how to tackle the challenges.
From application to offer – lessons learned during her internship search.
Inside the workplace – insights into German working culture and what she discovered during her job and internship.
Get practical tips, hear honest experiences, and see that you’re not alone in navigating the German job market.
