The 2nd WiN Europe Regional Event brings together WiN chapters, nuclear professionals, industry leaders and partners from across Europe for three days of exchange, collaboration and forward-looking dialogue.
Hosted by WiN Switzerland in cooperation with WiN Europe and WiN Global, the 2026 edition will focus on strengthening European cooperation, advancing women’s leadership in the nuclear sector, and shaping the future of nuclear energy in a rapidly evolving energy landscape.

Programme
The 2nd WiN Europe Regional Event is built around two main days, with an optional third day dedicated to technical tours of nuclear facilities and research institutions.
The official programme brings together WiN chapters, nuclear professionals and partners from across Europe to strengthen collaboration, promote women’s leadership, and engage in forward-looking dialogue on the future of nuclear energy.

Is dedicated to WiN Europe workshops led by chapters and technical contributors, encouraging exchange of best practices and cross-border cooperation.

An optional Day 3 offers technical and cultural tours, providing participants with insights into the Swiss nuclear sector and the region surrounding the nuclear facilities. Registration for these tours will open shortly before the event, and participants who are already registered will have the opportunity to book their preferred tours.

All tours are scheduled to return to Baden by approximately 16:00 to facilitate onward travel planning. Separate registration is required and capacity is limited.

Location
The 2nd WiN Europe Regional Event will take place at the Trafo Hallen in Baden. Baden is approximately 40 minutes by train from Zurich Airport and iand is well connected to major Swiss cities, including Zurich and Bern.. Its proximity to key Swiss nuclear facilities makes it a suitable location for this year’s meeting and the optional technical visits. The venue is directly connected to a hotel. Additional accommodation options are available in Baden as well as in nearby Brugg and Aarau, all easily accessible by public transport. Participants are kindly requested to arrange their accommodation individually. Should you require assistance with travel planning, please do not hesitate to contact the organising team.
